 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998), better known as MrBeast in the US, is an American YouTube personality. He is also a philanthropist and entrepreneur. [6] His YouTube videos are known for featuring expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson started uploading videos to YouTube in 2012, at the age of 13, under the name "MrBeast6000" His early videos ranged from "Let's Plays" to "videos that estimated the riches of other YouTubers." The channel went viral in the year 2017 following his "counting to 100,000" video earned hundreds of thousands of views in just a couple of days. He has been getting more and more popular ever since, with most of his videos gaining tens of millions of views.Over time, his style of content has changed to include challenge and donation videos that reward millions of dollars, videos involving arduous tasks or survival challenges and original video vlogs. Donaldson has enlisted a number of childhood friends to assist him in managing the growing brand after it was established. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel with over 100 million users was launched in 2022.
